  • HOW DO THE APPOINTMENTS WORK?

    Imani only books full day tattoo sessions - 1 day, back to back or monthly multi sessions to complete your piece. For ALL clients, once you receive Imani’s booking calendar, you can book for any availability that is convenient to your schedule.


  • HOW MUCH WORK DOES IMANI GET DONE IN A FULL DAY SESSION?

    Each full day session is approximately 5-6 hours. Because pain management, skin health and individual needs are our first priorities, it varies by client.

  • WHAT TYPES OF TATTOO IDEAS ARE YOU CURRENTLY ACCEPTING?

    Imani only books for work that allows creative freedom and collaboration.

    While Imani is a well-rounded artist, her voice is strongest in ornamental, Africana, Japanese, anime/ kawaii and floral work. Her style is always rooted in fineline, detail, texture and pattern work.

  • WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

    Hyattsville, MD Historic Arts District (near downtown Washington, DC).

  • IS IMANI TRAVELING SOON?

    Please join the waitlist for Imani’s upcoming travel and event plans. So far, we will be hosting a 4-city tattoo tour.

  • That depends on when you start your consultation process and pay your deposit, friend.

  • WILL I GET TO TALK TO IMANI BEFORE MY TATTOO APPOINTMENT DATE?

    Yes! We do virtual consultations at $50. Once you schedule your consultation, Imani will be there to greet you and discuss your ideas, thoroughly. 

    • If you proceed the amount goes towards your tattoo deposit.
    • If you choose not proceed you will walk away with all the information you need to choose an artist of a better fit. On occasion, we do provide direct referrals to other artists within our immediate network.
  • Work refusal based on the following ~

    • morally compromising content / placement
    • failure to meet a requirement (minimum age, communication follow-up, mimimum cost)
    • is an exact copy of other artist’s work
    • the artist finds that you will not be able to practice the 3C’s reciprocally - consideration, communication, & creativity - using the tools provided to guide you gracefully through your tattoo journey.

    If you are not directly related to the industry or already heavily tattooed, we will not tattoo your hands, inner lips, neck or face and most likely any other trendy or abnormal placement.


  • Once you’re booked, all info will hit your inbox from your preferred artist. If you booked and don't see it in your inbox, check spam or junk mail.

    Be sure to follow all instructions so you don’t miss your next steps!

    IF you are a NO SHOW for your consultation, you will forfeit both time + fee.

  • We accept all references once a consultation is booked.

    Your consultation confirmation email will include directions for best ways to conveniently submit all the references you wish.

  • WILL I SEE THE DESIGN BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT DATE?

    Drawings will NOT be available via email, social media or any other sharing modality for viewing before your scheduled appointment date.

    • We cannot email you your design and Imani does not schedule time in advance for previewing. We can make any adjustments within reason at the appointment.
    • Time consuming changes and how to proceed will be handled at the artist and clients discretion.

    If you require a creative planning session or full drawing prior to your appointment, your artist will charge an additional $500 non-refundable drawing fee. This fee does not go towards your tattoo appointment.


  • All work starts at $1500. And requires a 35% deposit.

    Tattoos are priced PER PROJECT and varies depending on the budget + size + complexity of each individual project. Please see why the cost.

    ※ OFF DAY PROJECTS

    Incur a double the cost fee and require a full payment as deposit if you request an artist for a day they are off.

    ※ ALL LARGE PROJECTS

    (arm/ leg sleeves, back piece, etc.), you must be able to have a FULL DAY appointment once each month.

    If you need to reschedule a scheduled session, a new deposit will be required for the new date and all monies will go towards your tattoo session.

    Your deposit WILL be forfeited and a new consultation + the full cost of tattoo will be required to schedule another session, or continue your tattoo journey if:

    • you are a no show to ANY appointment or;
    • fail to book monthly for ongoing work
    • fail to reschedule within 30 days
    • have a negative scheduling history
  • YES! We absolutely require deposit to reserve your appointment. No deposit. No appointment.

    Deposits are 35% of your quoted tattoo cost and must be paid in full to secure your tattoo appointment date(s).

    DEPOSITS ARE

    • nonrefundable and non-transferable
    • deducted at the end of your last tattoo session
    • held for 30 days after your most recent payment plan installment or appointment on multi-session work

    YOUR DEPOSIT REQUIRES THAT

    • You are allowed to reschedule any appointment ONE time
    • Your rescheduling is done at least 48-hour in advance
    • You are no more than 15 minutes late to your appointment (without notice)
    • We create based on what is discussed and understood in consultation

    YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR FEE OR DEPOSIT IF:

    • You are a no-show to ANY appointment
    • You fail to reschedule your appointment at least 48-hours in advance
    • You fail to complete your tattoo agreement 24 hours prior to appointment
    • You decide that you no longer want the tattoo for ANY reason

    YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT AND BE REQUIRED TO PAY FULL PRICE IF YOU:

    • are a no show to any appointment
    • fail to reschedule at least 48 hours in advance
    • have to reschedule due to illness or any other act of God
    • fail to book monthly for multi-session projects or;
    • fail to adhere to your deposit payment plan

    There are NO EXCEPTIONS & NO REFUNDS to ANY of Little INKPLAY Shop's deposit policy.

  • We do have a 1x grace period where you are allowed to reschedule any (or all) booked tattoo sessions no more than 30 days from your original date.

    The ONLY exception to this rule is if artist is unavailable/ already booked. At which time your artist will help you choose the next best date, at their discretion.

    We do require that you complete your reschedule with the following at least 48 hours BEFORE your appointment:

    • consult with your artist before rescheduling through our system
    • set/ confirm your new date so that your artist can cancel your appointment and amend their availability in a timely

    Your appointment will NOT be cancelled without a new date being booked. If you have not rescheduled before your original scheduled appointment, you will be at risk of forfeiting your deposit.

    IF you have to reschedule more than once for any reason, you will forfeit your deposit and be required to pay in full for a new date.
