We will have open doors, welcoming others to meet-up and explore their artistic voice, creativity, and self-love through art.

ka·waii (kəˈwī,ˈkäwīˌē/)

Kawaii is Japanese for cute! An entire culture, from dress to daily lifestyle, was birthed from the idea of people creating their looks and life elements as a means of expression from societal norms. Although this word and meaning take root in Japan, its spirit has spread all over the world through the works of the god-father of kawaii, Sebastian Masauda and his brand, 6% Doki Doki.

Our Mission

“Everyone has the opportunity to make a better life, but not everyone knows how to. For those who happen to know, help those who don’t”

Art is such an important part of the human experience and creativity helps foster a stronger community.

Together, both help affect tremendous positive change, individually and communally.

LIPS aims to be a place where people come to be inspired by cute culture and the arts, alike – to learn about it, create it, and even participate as exhibiting artists.

Our goal is to be a resource for the youth and kawaii communities while widening the scope of creative empowerment for all ages.

We offer art workshops for children and adults with a strong focus on manga illustration. You can create a character, bring it to life and produce your own manga with guided instruction.
